Director: Dr. Alexei Gonzalez-Estrada

Dr. Alexei Gonzalez-Estrada is a Senior Associate Consultant at Mayo Clinic Florida in the Division
of Pulmology, Allergy and Sleep Medicine of the Department of Medicine. It is also
Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.
He received his doctor of medicine degree from the Universidad de Anahuac de la Ciuda de Mexico and
He completed his specialty in Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology at Cleveland Clinic.
During his specialty, he received the Clemens Von Pirquet award for the best clinical research
and the Young Faculty Support award from the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. The
Doctor Gonzalez has carried out a series of projects, including a study of allergy to
asthma, anaphylaxis and chronic urticaria medications and has published several articles, chapters and
research summaries.
Dr. Gonzalez is the former President of the Steering Committee of Junior Members of the Organization
